"Wash Hands"

Today while sorting laundry Landon came to me saying "wash hands". His hands were COVERED in peanut butter. When one set of hands are dirty there is usually a second set of dirty hands to be found. I found Cade sitting in the living room with the tub of peanut butter between his legs. He looked and me and said "uh ohh".

Grumps and Snuggles

I feel like we have spent the majority of 2012 being sick. We have had 2 colds, 2 fevers, and a stomach bug. I'll blame it on our indecisive weather. ;) As I mentioned in the previous post Cade woke up from his nap with a fever the day of his birthday party. As the party was ending Landon came down with a fever as well. We spent that night and all day Sunday snuggling our grumpy feverish boys. It sure has been nice loving on them, but I can't wait to be healthy again. Like really really lots of water, fruits, veggies and exercise healthy.

Cade's 1st Birthday Party!!

I can't believe my baby Cade is going to be ONE in just a couple days. We celebrated his birthday with some family and friends on Saturday.

The song "You Are My Sunshine" is a very special song to me. My Grandpa Tidwell used to sing it to us as kids and because of that my mom sang it at his funeral. Because of his red hair I sing this song to Cade every day, several times a day, and have ever since he was born. A few months ago I decided I wanted to throw a sunshine themed party. I've always wanted to throw a party with a theme and cute decorations and had so much fun putting it all together. I made this picture on photoshop and used it as the cover of the invitation. The day of his party also happened to be St Patrick's day so I threw some green clovers into the sunshine mix.

As guest were arriving Cade woke up from his nap with a fever. Poor little guy wasn't quite feeling himself. After some sugar from his cake and a bath in the kitchen sink he finally started to have a good time. We sure love our little sunshine and can't believe he is already ONE.
