Landon's First Christmas

Warning: This post contains an exuberant amount of pictures of our little guy....but what else would you expect it was our first child's first Christmas.

We started our the holiday season off by picking our a Christmas tree at the Khalil Bottling tree lot, a Tidwell family tradition.

Landon got to meet Santa at our ward Christmas party and...

our family played Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus in the Nativity.

Tidwell Family Christmas card picture.

The Christmas festivities began with Landon admiring the presents under the Hoefferle's tree on Christmas Eve.

Landon's first Christmas present...an adorable photo album from Aunt Andrea. It went straight to his mouth. He sure loves it.

4:30 am Christmas morning opening his stocking at home with Mommy and Daddy.

5:30am opening presents with Uncle B and Uncle Josh at Grandma and Grandpa Tidwell's house.

9:00am opening presents in Globe at Great-Grandma Tidwell's house. What a long morning!!

Annual Christmas picture with Aunt Cindy. I just now noticed how outnumbered I am.

Finally out of his Christmas jammies and all dressed up for Christmas dinner. He is too cute!!

Landon got to end his first Christmas relaxing in his first bubble bath.

This Christmas sure was great!! Having Landon around made it extra special. I look forward to next year when he understands whats going on a little better. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too!!!

What fun! And it does it to be so much fun when they are older. We haven't flat out told Bud that we are Santa, but over time he figured it out himself. But, Dave woke up to stuff in his stocking from "Santa" that I hadn't put in it. Bud later said, "You know Dad, I was playing Santa, so that's how you got that stuff." It was so adorable and so nice since I had forgotten jerky, which is exactly what Bud put in Dave's sock.

Ahhhhh.... I remember the excitment of your first babies first Christmas. This year we didn't even wake the baby up when we started and she really only got a couple presents and the rest were clothes. Luckily, I don't think she cared.
